Fiduciary, legal and ethical responsibilities 1.Adopt a clear mission; 2.Select a CEO equipped to advance the mission; 3.Work with CEO in complementary roles as trusted partners; 4.Elect a chair to manage Board with integrity; 5.Develop Board through selection, training, evaluation, and reward; 6.Govern through well-organized and documented policies; 7.Form committees to do Board-related work; 8.Insist on great meetings; 9.Be accountable; 10.Pursue excellence.
