1. When I See The Blood
Exodus 12:12-13

the Israelites were slaves in Egypt God sent Moses to set them free. Pharaoh refused.God’s warnings . Judgment fell.

4. Satan holds the world in bondage
God offers freedom to those who desire

5. The Lamb Represented Christ, Our Substitute
John 1:29..."Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” 1 Peter 1:19-20 “...the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” 1 Corinthians 5:7,”... For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us”.

6. The Sacrificial Lamb
A lamb was slain for each family The lamb had to be perfect The lamb’s blood must be shed The body must be roasted in fire The people must eat in haste The blood must be applied

7. Jesus, The Lamb of God
Inspected for four days in temple Pilate said, “...I find no fault in Him.” John 19 :4 He died. His blood was shed He suffered the flames of hell Justice was carried out. Debt paid!

8. The Curse of the First Born
God’s final Judgment in Egypt fell on

9. God’s blessing is on second birth

10. Second birth is a spiritual birth
“John 3:6-7 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.’ ” Believing in Christ brings a new birth

11. Salvation requires action
The lamb’s blood must be applied to the lintels and the door posts with Hyssop bushes, Used to make soap The lamb was roasted and eaten in haste The judgment of God was near Preparation was required

12. The Angel of Death Comes
Angel of death didn’t look for religious people, evil sinners, rich or poor He did not look for church members The angel searched for the blood Ex 12:13 “And when I see the blood, I will pass over you;

13. You must heed the word of God
If no lamb was slain and no blood was applied there was death Jesus, the Lamb of God has been slain. His blood has been shed By faith accept His cleansing blood

14. The New Birth When we appear before God
We will not be asked about religion
or good deeds, or moral living
God is looking for the blood of Jesus
that has taken away our sin.
