3. WHAT KIND OF SCHOOL ARE WE PROPOSING? A free school We will have freedom to create our own curriculum completely aligned to the needs of our pupils We can admit as many pupils as we like without being directed by the local authority We can decide our school day and holiday pattern which we would do following consultation with you – our parents We can offer pupils in Year 9 some choice in the subjects they can study Our funding will come directly to us from central government thus less money will be kept by the Local Authority There will be greater opportunities for parents to discuss how we should run our new school and for parents to actually plan the structure and organisation of the new school.

5. What will the ethos and values of the new school be? In essence, the same as in the Federation now.
