3. Announcements Parkside Players Want to be a star? Want to be a stage manager? If you do, come to the Parkside Players meeting this week. The Parkside Players drama Club will meet this Thursday in Room 404, immediately after school. All students at Parkside may attend if you want to be involved with any aspect of the theatre. Please see Mrs. Livingston for additional information.

4. Announcements Homework Club Do you want some extra help on your homework? Do you need access to a computer and don’t have one at home? Do you enjoy playing fun games? If so, join the homework club. We will be meeting Mon-Thurs after school. Come only the days you have homework. Permission slips are in the office and outside of room 618. See Ms. Mattson with any questions.

5. Announcements Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest If any student is interested in staying on Thursday, October 10 th for the Patriot’s Pen, Ms. Mattia will be staying to help with any work on your essay.

9. Announcements Call for Candidates for the Student Counsel Association (SCA) SCA will be holding elections on October 17 th during all lunches. Sixth and Seventh grade students may run for Delegate. Eighth grade students may run for President, Vice President, Secretary, and Delegate. Those eighth grade students running for President, Vice President, and Secretary need to submit a paragraph detailing why they would like to hold the office. Delegates only need to sign up at the front office. The deadline to sign-up is TODAY, October 9 th.
