3. 3 Information Collection Process  NRC and Department of Commerce (DOC) use a joint information collection process  All NRC and Agreement State licensees use paper-based reporting system  All NRC and Agreement State licensee AP reporting forms are sent to the DOC Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) DOC/BIS forwards licensee submitted forms to the NRC  NRC reviews/enters data, provides data to DOC/BIS via CD  Future plans to develop and implement a computerized reporting system utilizing web-based forms

4. 4 Information Collection Timelines  Annual reports Submitted to DOC by January 31st of each year Starting in 2010  Export reports Submitted to DOC 15 days after the end of each quarter April 15 th ; July 15 th, October 15 th and January 15 th
