2. What is the child well being report? A report on the well being and inequality of children. As a result of the UNICEF study (2007)

3. What are the aims of the report? The UNICEF child well being report review aims to understand how, and to what extent, inequality and materialism affect children’s experience of life in order to improve children’s well-being in the UK.

5. What is meant by the term ‘well-being’? “a positive state of mind and body, feeling safe and able to cope, with a sense of connection with people, communities and the wider environment” (Department of Health’s New Horizons strategy)

6. Where does the UK rank in regards to children’s well being? The Uk ranks 18 th out of 21 for material well being and 20 th for subjective well being.
