Genre There are different types of genres of films. For example there are comedy, action, chick flick and animation. This film is an action film. The filmmakers of this movie done a little bit of live action when filming and making this movie

Representation Key Term The representation of Tomb Raider was to find actors/actresses who could act the main characters. For example Angelina Jolie,(Lara Croft who was dressed in t-shirt and shorts.) Daniel Craig(Alex West dressed in mostly suits) and Iain Glen who as the villain (Manfred Powell wore a lot of black). There is one scene that looks like a tomb but instead it is an training area which is build on to a part of the manner in the house. In the film.

Stock character /Stereotype/Non- Stereotype The main character is Lara Croft. She is a stereotype because she is good at getting what she needs by achieving her objectives and getting to where she needs to go. She is also a Non- stereotype because she is a powerful adventurous woman and not the victim needing rescued. She tries to help them instead of fighting against them. She tries to protect them from any danger.
5
Camera Angles/lighting The different types of camera angles that were used in this film were camera angles like a high angle shot which is a type of angle that when the camera is physically higher than normal it is looking upon the subject (person) whilst filming. There were some scenes in this film that were dull because most of them were set in tombs so they had to use light carefully so that they could get it just right.
6
Narrative Structure Tomb Raider is about an archaeologist who seeks an item called the all seeing-eye. She retrieves this key uses it to try and turn back time. But that is not enough. she also needs to destroy it to restore the earth to its normal state. If she doesnt she could end in a lot of trouble.

Audience Appeal This movie I think would appeal to adults male/female audiences because they may like their favourite actors/actress. They could also possibly like action movies and would enjoy Tomb Raider as a good thriller as well. With so many people liking action movies they could make a good profit. This could be possible because the people who have made the games calibrate with the filmmakers which means they try to relate the game to the movie as much they possibly can.
