2 Gender Equity is when both male and females, have equal rights, responsibilities and oppurtunities.
What is Gender Equity?

3 There are many organisations that are going out to developing countries to try and enforce gender equity. Oxfam: has created a campaign titled ‘We Can End Violence Against Women’ which in running in Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka, to break the silence on gender violence through rallies, door-to-door campaigns and media coverage. UNICEF: works with young girls in developing countries to help them meet their basic needs and expand their opportunities to reach their full potential. They aim tho promote equal rights for women and girls, and to support their participation in the political, social and economical development of their communities. Organisations
