What is ISO14001? A documented system of all impacts a company are having on the environment. A detailed strategy to reduce these impacts. A plan to continuously monitor and measure the reduction of these impacts.

Environmental Policy This policy defines the companys commitment to protecting the environment. It will be located on all environmental notice boards and on the reception wall.

Objectives and Targets For each impact, an objective is set and a target date for completion. A strategy and monitoring programme is put in place for each objective (Environmental Management Programme). The list of objectives and targets will be displayed on the Environmental notice boards.

What are typical impacts? 1.Potential VOC Air Emissions. 2. Waste Disposal to Landfill. 3. Noise Emissions. 4. Foul effluent & Water Management. 5.Resource Consumption. 6.Chemical storage & Transport 7.Construction of extension

ISO14001 Accreditation External auditors come on site for two days to audit the EMS. They will assess sites commitment to the environment and improvements that have made.
