Compliance is Not Optional DOE increased compliance reviews and investigations Most importantly, compliance will help all students

Campus Security Authorities VAWA added reportable incidents (such as domestic violence and stalking) Must report to appropriate school authority all relevant details known to the employee. Reporting

“Responsible Employee” "When a responsible employee knows or reasonably should know of possible sexual violence, THIS KNOWLEDGE IS ATTRIBUTED TO THE INSTITUTION. The school must take immediate and appropriate steps to investigate."

Education and Programming Special training not just for security authorities but ALL who might witness or receive reports of sexual violence. Must be on-going and sustainable "Objectively effective": awareness campaigns based on solid assessment on that particular campus.
