Note._ should + not = shouldn’t; should + have = should’ve; should + not + have = shouldn’t have Grammar patterns 1. You shouldn’t work so hard. 2. Heavy items should not be placed in the lockers. 3. The bus should’ve been here half an hour ago. 4. I’ve phoned for a taxi; it shouldn’t be long. 5. You should’ve told me that you were ill. 6.
