Ability to Define Batch Types with Different Setups Ability to designate payments of this type should be included in the main system upload. For instance, the processing of Non-Receivable payments are not reported to the main system. Ability to designate that payments of this type should all have this default amount. This is useful for checks only payments that are generally of the same denomination. Ability to specify if payments of this batch type should use the active special processing logic defined within the system. Ability to specify any customized processing logic DLL that payments of this batch type should execute. << PreviousNext >>

Ability To Define Special Processing Logic (cont) Ability to save special processing logic and have the ability to turn it off when not used. Ability to define multiple special processing logic rules to be used within the system. These rules are easily defined in a pull- down menu manner as illustrated in the following page. Ability to build special processing logic which involves account information downloaded from the main management system. Detailed hot file features is illustrated on the following pages. << PreviousNext >>

5 Copyright © 2000 by RT Lawrence Corporation. La Mirada, California, USA. All Rights Reserved. Ability To Define Special Processing Logic (cont) While defining the condition that should trigger the logic to execute, all of the information from the remittance coupon and many other systems fields (e.g., received date) can be used as the criteria. Many comparison functions (e.g., equals, greater than, etc) can be used as part of the condition criteria Ability to compare field values against fixed values, another field value, or values read from the hot file (data downloaded from the main system. Ability to build combination rules with the use of And and Or logic Ability to specify what action should be taken when the condition exists. Actions can include putting payments on hold for verification, reject, or set different values in other fields. << PreviousNext >>

Ability To Define Hot File Database Lookup Hot File Feature enables the system to lookup against hot item database for payments in which special actions should be taken (e.g., rejecting payments from cancelled accounts). Our system enables the hot items to be defined by more than just account numbers. It enables the lookup against other criteria. For instance, you can specify all accounts from sales agent #123 should be held. << PreviousNext >>

7 Copyright © 2000 by RT Lawrence Corporation. La Mirada, California, USA. All Rights Reserved. Ability To Define Hot File Database Lookup (cont) Hot Items can be downloaded from the main management system as fixed length text files. These files can be imported nightly into our hot item database. This screen enables the administrator to define how the downloaded information should be read and stored into the hot item database. Effective dates can be individually downloaded << PreviousNext >>

8 Copyright © 2000 by RT Lawrence Corporation. La Mirada, California, USA. All Rights Reserved. Ability To Define Hot File Database Lookup (cont) In addition to the ability to execute special logic against downloaded hot items. The system allows ad hoc manually entered hot items. This is particularly useful for customer service rep and credit managers to place accounts on special conditions pro-actively. This flag designates that this record is a manually entered hot item. Ability to specify when this hot item should become effective and when the hot item should expire. << PreviousNext >>

Ability to Insert Virtual Remittance Coupon At times clients pay for more than one account but yet submits only one remittance coupon (e.g., includes payment for standard membership fees, or extra donation for other purposes. The use of Virtual Stubs enables the system to create additional Ability to specify what default values the virtual stubs should have when they are created on the fly. For instance, carry over means to use the same value of the original stub and Left Over means to use the dollar difference between what has been paid versus what was due. Note: If this feature is desired please be sure to request its inclusion in your price proposal. << PreviousNext >>

Ability To Define Endorsement and Sorting Logic RTLFiRST empowers you to easily specify the information that should be endorsed on the back of the checks. All the stubs and checks information and many systems fields are available. In addition to that, fixed and dynamic fields are also available. The use of dynamic fields allows the administrator to define different values to be endorsed based on different criteria. Please see the next page for more information. << PreviousNext >>

11 Copyright © 2000 by RT Lawrence Corporation. La Mirada, California, USA. All Rights Reserved. Ability To Define Endorsement and Sorting Logic (cont) The use of dynamic fields allows the administrator to define different values to be endorsed based on different criteria. For instance, all the payments for branch number XYZ can be endorsed with a particular bank account number and they can be designated to be sorted to a particular pocket. << PreviousNext >>
