Stage 2 Biology 2014 Students learn about the cellular structures and functions of a range of organisms. They have the opportunity to engage with the work of biologists and to join and initiate debates about how biology impacts on their lives, society, and the environment. Students design, conduct, and gather evidence from their biological investigations. As they explore a range of relevant issues, students recognise that the body of biological knowledge is constantly changing and increasing through the application of new ideas and technologies.

Use the time in tutes and availability time wisely The concepts seem easy, but do as many past exam questions as you can so you see the way concepts are tested. LEARN THE LANGUAGE THAT ‘SELLS’ Do your work early, keep up to date and ask Maurie or Corey when you need help. Do not hesitate, that is what they are here for.

Stage 2 Biology 2014 Be well organised, keep your notes up to date. Read ahead of lectures and then pay close attention to what is said. If we go too fast let us know so that we can slow down. It is more important to listen than to get good notes. Learn to work smarter rather than harder (means work at times when you are effective and do tasks that really matter) You can check lecture power points on Myuni, and also listen to an audio version of the lectures. Flag anything that you are unsure of so that you can ASK.
