3 Some mathematical facts about my number 10 is an even number. 10 is a composite number. The first five multiples of 10 are 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. 10 is a factor of 30. 10 has 2 factor pairs (1,10 and 2,5). 10 is divisible by 1, 2, 5, and 10. 10 has three proper factors. 1, 2, and 5. 10 is a deficient number as its proper factors add up to less than itself. The prime factorization of my number is 2 x 5.

4 Some connections between 10 and our world There are 10 commandments and they are a list of religious orders that were given to Moses by God. There are 10 days of Repentance which are the first 10 days of the Jewish month, Tishrei. There were 10 Martyrs who were a religious group of people. They were murdered by the Romans. 10 Downing Street is the address of the British PM. The Number 10 is the name of a luxury hotel in Scotland. The decimal system is based of the number 10.

5 Is my special number a good first move in either the factor game or the product game? 10 is not a good first move in either game. In the factor game, 10 will give your opponent 8 points and you would get 10. That is not good as you would not have gained much of a lead. In the product game, 10 is not in the middle of the game board so it would be harder to win if you got it.

Multiple: A multiple of a number is the product of that number and another number. Factor: One number out of a pair multiplied together to make a product. Factor Pairs: Two numbers multiplied together to get a product. Divisible By: A number that can be divided evenly by another number. Proper Factors: All the factors of a number except for the number itself. Deficient Number: A number is deficient if its proper factors add up to less than itself. Prime Factorization: A string of prime numbers multiplied together to get the answer you want.
