The first people to Occupy the area of the United States were the Indians.
They arrived there by walking across the Barren Seas.

Some reasons for the European Exploration were for them to….
To expand their knowledge of the world.
One person who traveled was Christopher Columbus he landed in North America.

4. EUROPEAN IMPACT
The Europeans gave Native Americans manufactured goods like cloth, Iorn cook wear and tools.

6. FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR
Colonel George Washington headed a small force of 150 English militiamen.
French troops arrived in the Ohio Valley.
a new prime minister, William Pitt, took over. His strategy for winning the war: take Canada.
It took a year and the French won the war.

George Washignton: who was a member of the first contiental congress.
John Adams: who was an important figure in both the first and second contiental congress.
Thomas Jefferson: who was a delegate to the second contiental congress and was chosen to be part of a committee of five that would draft the decloration of independence.
