2 ESF and LLP projects One problem – different tools to struggle Why? unemployment and lack of adequate skills among young people - one of the crucial problems to face with in the nearest future EC’s encouragement to mobilise unspent funds to improve the situation of young people in the labor market (Youth Opportunities Initiative) new tool to foster effects: international mobility projects added value of LLP and ESF projects implemented in a complementary way

3 Key points objectives of the LLP in line with ESF aims in the field of supporting young people taking into account specificity of national situation make the education system responsive to the needs of the labor market complementarity of all available instruments

5 Adjustments in practice What? internships and apprenticeships for students and training courses, conferences, seminars, apprenticeships for teachers The project covers: 1) costs incurred by participating institutions, rates for these costs are set out by the Commission in the yearly call for proposal for LLPs 2) costs incurred by the beneficiary, such as management costs - declared on the basis of actually incurred expenses

6 Financing structure How? all expenditures under LLP are covered by ESF (85%) and public co-financing stemming from state budget (15%) beneficiaries’ contribution is not foreseen (own contribution is not mandatory within HC OP) participating institutions as well as participants receive advance payments (certified to the EC afterwards)

7 Why was it possible? How? great will of Ministry and Foundation to make this happen great experience of beneficiary – National LLP Agency best solutions are the easiest ones (why choosing Leonardo da Vinci?) Erasmus + as the next step?
