SFW Strategic framework 2010-2015 4 priority areas 1.Sustainable increase of agricultural production, productivity and diversification for better nutrition of most vulnerable populations affected by short, medium and long term food insecurity 2.Sustainable management of natural resources encompassing women and vulnerable groups’ specific needs 3.Enabling attractive, competitive and gender sensitive environment for markets and improved food quality and safety for better trade encompassing women and vulnerable groups’ specific needs 4.Knowledge management, advocacy and policy coordination in West Africa

Draft SFW RMMS 2012/2013 Goal: Secure timely, predictable and adequate resources and support for the achievement of SFW’s work in the PWB 2013-2013 Four specific objectives To consolidate, diversify and expand FAO resource partnerships; To advocate FAO’s comparative advantage, through a vibrant communication campaign to support resource mobilization; To create a new culture for resource mobilization Organization-wide, strengthening coordination and enhancing capacities and, To effectively manage and report on resources and results at all levels, to Governing Bodies and external partners Target: USD 48m by 2013 through voluntary contributions (10)%)
