4. Sefton Local Authority is situated in the Northwest of England, next to Liverpool We work for a division of the Local Authority called ‘Children’s Services’ Our newly appointed Strategic Director is called Peter Morgan, who joined us in September 2009

5. We are judged as being an ‘outstanding’ Local Authority and have a strong reputation for the quality of our schools and their provision We are part of the Advisory Service, and our role is to support our schools through a range of services and activities.
