3 Health Professional Association contribution Health professional association Currently contributes to TB control or not?: Y / N Examples of countries where it is contributing to TB control Medical Associations In some countries Japan: information given to doctors by NTP through professional's association China: CMA develops guidelines to complement NTP guidelines, undertake training jointly with NTP; Anti-TB Association: deals with TB only; 3 TB related manuals published jointly by NTP, CMA and ATA. Ethiopia: Contribution to development of guidelines – physicians, paediatricians (childhood TB).

General medical associations not involved. Australia: Professionals contribute to policy development and information dissemination. Limited role for generalists.
