3 Read through the Options for solving on your calculator. Now try solving Example 26 using option 2. Intersection is (4, 4). Answer is x = 4

4 Now try solving Example 27 using option 2. There are 2 points of intersection, so adjust your calculator accordingly. Intersections are (-1, 3) and (-6, 2), so x = -1 and x = -6

5 Read through the Options for solving on your calculator. For example 28, we are going to use option 1, but it is an inequality. We must find where it is below the x-axis. If necessary, follow the steps in option 1 to locate the x-intercepts. Answer is the interval (-∞,23.75]. Technically it’s (-1.06383, 23.75) but I’ll explain that on Monday.
