St. Patrick’s Day Leprechauns had nothing to do with St. Patrick or the celebration of St. Patrick's Day, a Catholic holy day. In 1959, Walt Disney made a film about the Little People, which introduced Everyone to the leprechauns. But the real reason it is celebrated is because there was a real person, St.. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, is one of Christianity's most widely known figures. But for all his celebrity, his life remains somewhat of a mystery,

When?? St. Patrick's Day takes place each year on March 17, the traditional religious feast day of Saint Patrick.

How is it Celebrated?? People have parades and wear shamrocks!!! Everyone wears green or else they get pinched!!
