northern e conomics Study Goals Provide an estimate of the yearly value to the Alaskan economy of ADF&G’s recreational hatchery stocking program for Regions II and III. Calculate the net present value of the stocking program over the next 20 years based on results from first part of the analysis.

northern e conomics What’s our grade? Stocking Days per Capita The hatchery program provides 0.5 Angling Days/Capita vs. 0.14 Days/Capita in Montana (1987). Value for the Dollar. Minnesota spends $2M per year & stocking accounts for 14% of the walleye harvest (2004). 10-14% of all angling days in state. Slightly higher percentage of resident days 4-9% of all angling expenditures in state.
