Christopher Marlowe (1564-1593) great dramatist tragedy was his specialty died at age 29 wrote seven plays Dr. Faustus – his greatest work

Ben Jonson (1572- 1637) classic writer he wrote masques for the courts of England -great productions- (much like a musical review of today) -songs -dance -skits worked with the great set designer of the time Indigo Jones
