5. -D is for Detroit. -Detroit is a big city in Michigan. -Detroit makes cars like.. Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler.

6. -E is for Erie -Lake Erie is one of the great lakes. -Lake Erie is under to the right of the thumb of Michigan.

7. -F is for Faygo. -Faygo is a type of pop made in Michigan. -Faygo comes in different flavors like… Red Pop, Grape, Root Beer, and Orange.

8. -G is for Gerald Ford. -Gerald Ford was the only US president from Michigan. -He died in California.

9. - H is for Hungry Howie’s -Hungry Howie’s is a pizza made in Michigan. -It has lots of crust flavors for you to try.

15. -N is for Native Americans. -They once were all around Michigan -They had three big tribes called the three fires, The three fires were the Ojibwes, Potawatomis, and the Ottawas.

16. -O is for Oakland University - It is a college in Detroit - Its colors are yellow and purple.

17. -P is for Painted Turtle. -The Painted Turtle is our state Reptile. -You can find them in any pond envirement.

18. -Q is for Quincy -Quincy is found in southern MI. -It is near the major highway 69.

19. -R is for Robin. -The robin is our state bird. -The Robin is found all over Michigan.

20. -S is for Salt. -There is no salt water in Michigan, but there is a bunch of salt in the thumb. -It’s found underground in mines.

21. -T is for Traverse City. -They grow lots of juicy cherries. -Michigan is also known as The Cherry Capital Of The World.

22. -U Is for Upper Peninsula -It is also known as the U.P. -There is lots of copper and iron up there in the mountains.

23. -V is for Vernors -Vernors pop cans look like green barrels -Vernors is good for you when you have an upset tummy.

24. -W is for wolverine. -It is the mascot of Michigan. -They can be found in the porcupine mountains.

25. -X is for X marks the spot. X -X marks the spot is where we live, Beverly Hills MI. -X marks the spot is were Beverly School is.

26. -Y is for Ypsilanti -Its near the major highway 23-94 -It has an odd name.

27. -Z is for Zoo. -The Detroit Zoo has lots of animals.
