2 Methodology A total of 2,059 residents of Somerset County were interviewed to assess their health practices and health status. Of the 2,059, 31 were interviewed in-person via area clinics. The remainder were conducted over the telephone. This study is a follow-up to previous household telephone surveys conducted in 2006 and 2001/2002. In addition to overall county results, results were tabulate across three regions within the county.

3 Survey Details The questionnaire was largely comprised of survey items from the CDC’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Study (BRFSS). Additional custom questions were included. Questions from previous surveys were included as well in an attempt to track improvement or decline in health throughout the county.
