Intrusion Mask Group Command Code
Advanced permission control has separate intrusion command codes Alarm Mask Groups (Phase II) Intrusion Mask Groups (Phase III) DL3000 Version 05
48
“Do not use intrusion levels for access control”
Allows an access level to be created and used solely for intrusion reader permissions and not access control Detects if intrusion authority has been assigned to the access level DL3000 Version 05
49
Example for use … Two separate access levels will be created
An access level is created and assigned to the badge for door access purposes (A - Access) Access must be granted prior to intrusion command entry An access level is created and intrusion authority is assigned for intrusion permission purposes (I - Intrusion) Both access levels must contain the same command keypad in order to gain access and have intrusion authority for that particular command keypad Keypad 1 Keypad 2 Keypad 3 Keypad 4 Access Level X Intrusion Level Result A & I Neither A Only DL3000 Version 05

Intrusion Mask Groups – Group ID
DL3000 Version 05
54
Set to zero Entry and exit delays
Configured to allow entry/exit delay and provide user feedback on the command keypad LCD display Entry delay allows time for the cardholder to access the command keypad and disarm the group Exit delay allows the cardholder to arm the group and exit prior to the group actually arming Note: It is recommended if using Intrusion Mask Group entry and exit delays that the individual inputs not be configured for entry and exit delays The individual entry and exit delays configured for the inputs will be used as normal Once the input entry delay completes, the Intrusion Mask group will begin its timer Set to zero DL3000 Version 05
55
Local I/O Actions Allows the execution of a local I/O based on the Intrusion Mask Group state Enter mode Exit mode DL3000 Version 05
56
Group states that may be linked to a Local I/O
Disarmed Masked Disarmed fault Masked with points currently in fault (alarm) condition Armed away Unmasks both perimeter and interior points in group with entry delay Armed stay Unmasks perimeter points only with entry delay Armed instant Unmasks both perimeter and interior points in group immediately No entry or exit delay when arm instant is issues DL3000 Version 05
57
Entry delay Exit delay Alarm After alarm Chime
Disarm command not yet issued but still in entry delay countdown Exit delay Arm command issued but still in exit delay countdown Alarm Alarm generated from a point in the group not yet responded to After alarm Alarm generated from a point in the group and has been acknowledged or marked in progress Chime The chime has been enabled and currently being executed DL3000 Version 05
58
Point Type Configuration
24 hour A point always armed regardless of the group intrusion commands issued i.e. - Glass break sensor Interior An interior point is not armed when the armed stay or armed stay instant commands are issued Perimeter An exterior perimeter point armed when the armed stay, armed away, or armed instant commands are issued DL3000 Version 05
59
Default mode Disabled Normal
May be used to temporarily exclude the point from arming No events are generated while disabled Will remain disabled until set to normal (or the zone is restored from Alarm Monitoring) Normal Normal operating mode of the point DL3000 Version 05
60
Entry delay Instant Trigger Follower
Ignores any entry delay for the group Trigger A point in the group allowing the configured entry delay to occur Used to trigger entry delays on all points in the group configured as followers Follower A point configured to follow the entry delay of the point in the group configured as a trigger DL3000 Version 05
61
Chime Configures the group to provide an audible chime (beeper) at the command keypad when an alarm active occurs Must also be configured as audible in Command Keypad Template – User Feedback DL3000 Version 05
62
Event/device configuration
Intrusion groups limited to General purpose alarm inputs Reader door alarms Forced open Held open Door status Door status should be used for intrusion groups rather than the forced/help open events Event reports the door contact as a standard input Door forced open and door held open are considered access control events rather than alarm panel events DL3000 Version 05

Intrusion Mask Group Alarms
Mask group alarm (Event 1) An mask group alarm occurs when an intrusion group point enters an alarm state The command keypad will begin to beep continuously and the display will indicate an alarm has occurred Mask Group Alarm cancelled (Event 2) The disarm command will need to be used to cancel (silence) the keypad A alarm history can be displayed by using the view command on the keypad List may be repeated by using the # COMMAND button on the LNL-CK DL3000 Version 05
69
Chime The command keypad will beep when a point in the intrusion group that is configured to chime enters an alarm active until the alarm is cancelled from the command keypad or alarm monitoring User feedback configuration in the command keypad template must be have “Chime on point active” enabled DL3000 Version 05
70
The alarm monitoring status window will display the state of the intrusion mask group

Intrusion Mask Group Control – Alarm Monitoring
The group state can be controlled by right clicking on the group in the Alarm Monitoring system status tree Disarm/Reset Will cancel the group if a zone is in an alarm (silence) or disarm the group if no zones are in alarm Arm Away* Arm Stay* Arm Instant* Restore all points Restores all points in the group that were previously Disabled or Bypassed * - The intrusion group may not have any active zones prior to attempting arming DL3000 Version 05
72
Controlling Points in the Intrusion Group
Group points (zones) may be controlled through the right click menu Bypass Temporarily disables zone until the zone is Disarmed Disable Permanently disables zone until the Restore command is issued Restore Nullifies the Bypass or Disable commands Note: Currently there is no capability to control the zones through the command keypad DL3000 Version 05
