Broken line graph On the side you can see a broken line graph. a broken line graph is good for showing the high and lows of trends. To make a broken line graph, first plot the points, then connect the points.
3
Double stem plot 1 112234 2 5779 2 3 2 679 3 34 3 6666 A double stem and leaf plot is a date chart. If the number is 4 or less it goes on the first number it starts with. If it is 5 or more it goes on the second number number it stats with.
4
Line plot A line plot is a way to show date. It is good if you want to show how one number is bigger. To make it you put the numbers on the bottom then for every number you put a X on top of that number if there is an X there then put a X on that X.
5
Maximum The maximum is the biggest number for an example if the numbers are 1,4,7 and 10 then ten is the maximum.
6
Median The median is the middle number for an example if the numbers were 1,3,5,7,12 then it would be 5.
7
Minimum The minimum is the smallest number for an example if the numbers were 8,9,13,15 it would be 8.
8
Mode The mod is the most command number for example if 1,3,4,4,4,6,6 were the numbers you were working with the mod would be 4.
9
Step Graph A step bar graph is a date chart. It an be used for showing a taxies prizes if 4-5 mails it cost 5 dollars and 5-6 mails cost 6 dollars so 5.001 would cost 6 dollars.
10
Stacked bar graph A stacked bar graph is away to show three things at a time on the same bar. Every part is different so you have to subtract the number that is at the button from the top to get how big the bar is.
11
Mystery plot A mystery plot is an unlabelled graph or stem and leaf plot where the problem solver has to find the missing title which describes what the numbers in the graph are about.
12
Random Sample A random sample is an unbiased sample. For example, if you were to take a random sample of the population, everyone has an equal chance of getting picked.
13
Sector A sector is a slice of a circle graph that shows data. Here is a circle graph that shows the cost of going to college and each sector
