Student Challenge: Between March 25 th and April 26 th, complete 24 hours of exercise That’s only 6 hours a week! Less than an hour a day! Ms. Aschwanden will complete the challenge by running for 24 hours straight beginning at 8:00am on April 26 th

Students: log your exercise on the fitness log provided and submit it to your team by Tuesday (Teams may chose to collect minutes during homebase or life ed Monday and Tuesday) Each week there will be a drawing for a prize on Wednesday; get your name in the drawing by completing exercise that week! In addition, the homebase/life ed with the most minutes will chose the music to play during passing time that Friday!

Each day, record the amount of time you exercise- your goal is 360 minutes a week! Calculate the total amount of time each day The total amount each activity each week The grand total

Mondays during homebase; or Mondays/Tuesdays during Life Ed- submit your time sheet to your teacher to record your minutes in a google doc. You will be entered into a drawing for prizes when you submit your weekly times! The homebase group with the most weekly minutes will be able to select the music that will play during passing time on Friday that week!

Start tracking your progress on Monday, March 25 th ! Forms will be sent home Monday morning. Return your first week of data on Monday April 1 st or Tuesday April 2 nd. First Prizes drawn on April 3 rd !

Activities you may consider: Walking briskly to and from school Sports and practices Jogging and running Cheerleading and gymnastics Yoga and pilates Etc...

Create and submit a list of songs that could be used during passing time the week your homebase wins with the most minutes of exercise. Submit your list to Mrs. Blackburn for approval.
