Japa Joe This is the homunculous. This is how your brain sees your body. There are a lot of nerves in the tongue, lips and fingers. Japa is a most natural form of meditation. Move your lips and tongue, feel each bead. You are making a Deity out of sound.

Japa Joe MANTRA We are Bengali Monks, followers of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami and the 15th Century Saint, Sri Krsna Caitanya, so we chant the known Maha-mantra: Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare / Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare (Oh all compasionate Mother, Hara, please pray to the Supreme all attractive Lord, Krsna, and the original Guru, Rama, to engage us in Their service). But there are Mantras from so many traditions: Domine Iesu Christe, Fili Dei, miserere mei, peccatoris (Oh, my Lord, Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy upon this miserable sinner).
