3 Click Here To Register For an Account You must provide an NHS email address for your account to be approved Please select whether you are interested in receiving emails about when data is updated. You will need to type in this box the letters/numbers that appear above – this is for security reasons. You will need to download this form, complete, sign and return to NATCANSAT before approval is granted. www.rtds.nhs.uk

4 Registration Approval to the Dashboard depends upon: You working for a Radiotherapy Provider A valid NHS email address being provided Receipt of a signed non disclosure/data re-use form Once this is received you will receive (via email) your password. Your email address is your username. It is anticipated that approval will be granted within 48 hours of receipt of the signed non disclosure/data re-use form. 6 Click Forgotten Password? If you would like an email reminder of your password Enter your Username and Password and Click Log In

7 Quality Measures Tab

8 You will find the Quality Measures Tab when you log into the RTDS Microsite. Click on the Tab button to show the dashboard. If this Quality Measure Tab isn't appearing when you log in, please contact the NATCANSAT helpdesk on Tel: 0870 840 8033 Or Email: ccf-tr.RTDS@nhs.net

9 Summary Page

10 This page shows a summary of the 10 current measures (for the quarter selected) and are pre-loaded with the relevant quarters data. Some of the Measures have a “Target” Value. If there is a target, and your providers result is equal to or above the target, the value is shown in green font. If it is below the target the value is shown in red font.

11 When you first load the QM Tab, there will be 3 ‘boxes’ with no value displayed. These are Provider Input values, that will only appear once you have entered the relevant data items. You can change the selected quarter/year by clicking the drop down box. If you have a query, you can click the “Feedback” button to email NATCANSAT.

12 Detailed Reports

13 To see further detail on how the Measure is calculated, and the definitions, please click the relevant button. This will load up the detailed report.

14 This shows the quarter selected To return to the ‘boxes’ summary page click here. To ask a question, or provide comments on the report, click “Feedback” This section shows your Providers numerator and denominator figure, to show how the measure is calculated. The graph benchmarks you against all other Providers, and highlights your own Provider in Blue. Descriptions of the measures and data sources are shown at the bottom of the page.

15 You can export the full report by selecting the Drop Down Box Choose your file type (Excel recommended) Click Save and select a location on your Computer Exporting the Report

16 Provider Input Reports

17 RAD04, RAD10a and RAD10b require you to input data. Click the button to load up the report. Only selected individuals have the ability to “Input” the data. If you are unable to input, then please contact NATCANSAT on 0870 840 8033 or using the “Feedback” button.

18 Input the relevant data, and click “Submit” One you have submitted your data, it cannot be altered. The report will appear at the bottom, benchmarked against other Providers who have input their data. You can reselect this report at a later date if not all providers data has been entered.

19 You need to input data for RAD10a, before you are able to enter RAD10b.

20 Data Approval

21 Once all 3 data input items (RAD04, RAD10a and RAD10b) have been entered. The “Approve Data” button will appear in Red. Click this button to approve the data. Only selected individuals have the ability to “Approve” the data. If you are unable to select this button, then please contact NATCANSAT on 0870 840 8033 or using the “Feedback” button.

22 You can see a summary here of the data that is ready to be Approved. Once you have clicked “Approve Data”, you cannot amend it, and the data will be submitted. You will receive a message on screen when your data has been successfully submitted. The approval button will turn green

23 Feedback

24 Click the Drop Down Button to select the reason for Contact. If you have clicked the “Feedback” Button from a particular Report, then this will be pre-selected with the name of the report in question underneath. Select whether you would like a response via email/telephone. Clicking the “Feedback” button on any page, shows a “Contact Us” page which allows you to enter any queries or comments about the reports or dashboard. You will receive a message on screen when your data has been successfully submitted. Enter your comments here.

25 Exporting Data

26 You can select the “Export Data” button to export all the data currently in the dashboard into Excel. Click “Export Data”. It will ask you whether you want to Save the file to your PC or Open.
