LVC Overview 6 modules offering general knowledge and skills to volunteer with confidence, sector-wide Welcomes everybody aged 16 and over Learners receive a certificate and their own, unique Lincolnshire Volunteer Card Course calendar (countywide) available on Children’s Links website: www.childrenslinks.org.ukwww.childrenslinks.org.uk To book, call or email Children’s Links Courses can be set up for groups of 8 or more people ALL FREE OF CHARGE!

Progress to Date LVC Pilot programme achieved 1570 certificated learners with validated cards. 192 courses ran in total. Independent Evaluation: LVC IS leading to an increase in volunteering. 75% of participants felt taking part in the training had led to an improvement in their experience of volunteering. Continuation funding from Lincolnshire County Council for delivery until April 2016. Additional healthy living content in LVC plus progression to higher level ‘Live Well Champions’ training (aged 18 and over)

Live Well Champions Training For everybody aged 18 and over People can access the training via LVC or other routes No previous background in health needed Optional progression route to achieve an RSPH Level 2 Award in Understanding Health Improvement Course calendar on Children’s Links website To book, call or email Children’s Links Training is all free of charge
