2 Starter; A - Z Write down a crime or offence for as many letters of the alphabet as you can. Can also do it verbally. Ask students/groups to shout out when you give them a letter. Back To Starters

3 Restorative Justice lesson 2 By the end of this lesson all will be able to give examples of anti- social behaviour and describe what happens to you when charged with committing an offence By the end of this lesson most will be able to give details of a restorative justice process By the end of this lesson some will be able to offer suggestions of their own to improve the restorative justice system

4 Arrange the 14 cards in order that things would happen to an offender 1.Case study title 2.Help! I’ve smashed a window 3.A few days later… 4.The police arrive… 5.Back at the station… 6.Its off to the cells. 7.What happens in court 8. You’ve pleaded guilty 9. You get a 6 month referral order 10. The YOT are involved 11. At the same time someone speaks to the victim 12. Next comes your panel meeting 13.For a 6 month referral order … 14. As well as that….

5 Group task In groups, either 1) produce a Power Point of your own 2) perform a role play or 3) write a letter of apology from the offender to the victim to show your knowledge and understanding of the details of restorative justice. You can either think up your own situation or use an example from your own experience.
