2 Modification Proposal 0260: Revision of the Post- Emergency Claims Arrangements Ofgem approved Mod 0260 on 6 th November 2009 Implementation Date effective from 1 st December 2009 National Grid NTS has been progressing implementation tasks with APX Gas Ltd, xoserve and Ofgem

3 Implementation Tasks To facilitate the implementation of Modification 0260 National Grid NTS has established a dedicated area on its National Grid website: http://www.nationalgrid.com/uk/Gas/OperationalInfo/PostEmergencyClaims/

4 Implementation Tasks National Grid website ‘Post-Emergency Claims’ area will contain the following items: User Guidelines for the submission of post-emergency claims Process and procedures required to submit a Post Emergency Claim Electronic proformas (interface files) for use by shippers to submit post- emergency claims to National Grid Process Flow Diagram illustrating end-to-end processing of claims Includes UNC Post-Emergency Claim progression timelines and the process interfaces between Users, National Grid, APX Gas Ltd, xoserve and Ofgem Relevant National Grid, xoserve and Ofgem contact details Economic Price Assessment Guidelines (to be published) Information provision (reporting) (to be published)

5 User familiarisation and support National Grid and APX Gas Ltd have provided familiarisation of the existing OCM Physical Market and Gemini OCM Physical Renominations functionality (Operational Forum November 2009) We would kindly request that Users review and provide comments* on the usability/content of the new dedicated ‘Post-Emergency Claims’ area of the website: Nationalgrid.com/gas/operational information/post emergency claims National Grid will consider all comments received and provide feedback at the Transmission Workstream/Operational Forum * Any comments/queries, please contact: steve.pownall@uk.ngrid.com (tel no. 01926 656362)
