3 Parish Planning Implementing Your Plan Who is responsible for implementing your Plan? What is the best way to organise the implementation? Feedback from Workshop (24 th Oct):- Local landowners Community Volunteers Service providers; (e.g. local authority, Police, Highways agency, etc.) Local schools (if applicable) Parish Council Local businesses Local organisations; e.g. church, Village Hall Committee, Gardening Club, etc. Feedback from Workshop (24 th Oct):- Continuous Review Adoption by Parish Council Adoption by County Council Prioritise Quick Wins Delegate wherever possible; e.g. community, local organisations. Strong Coordinating Body Continuous communications Regular Reviews Liaise with Service Providers

4 Communicate! Implementation Models Parish Planning PC adopts the Plan and reviews and updates action plan. Regular agenda item. Becomes PC’s Business Plan (or part of). Performance judged on its delivery. PC uses Plan to judge emerging issues & opportunities; e.g. planning applications, funding opportunities, etc. PC forms Plan Management Committee (working party):- PC and PPSG members, volunteers, theme champions Annual Review Annual Public Event

5 Implementing your Plan Parish Planning How do you intend launching your final Plan? What do you want to be included in your final Plan?
