ACTIVITY 1 1.Classify the ten listed events into those which are hazards and those which are not. 2.Draw a table to classify these ten events into those that are hydrological, meteorological, geomorphological and tectonic.

In pairs, on the maps given to you, produce a hazard risk map for East Kent:- 1] Firstly decide on the hazards that you will research, i.e. 2] Now decide how on your map you are going to show your own interpretation of the hazard risk and those of respected agencies, such as The Environment Agency.
