To develop the next generation of researchers, scientists and academics. To provide an education for students from around the world that equips them with the knowledge and skills they require to pursue their ambitions. What does all this mean for this mean for learning at Imperial?

8 Learning To be a successful student at Imperial you need to be part of the process of transforming and creating new knowledge and not simply a recipient of established knowledge. The Nuremberg Funnel is an old German legend about a magical funnel into which could be poured all necessary knowledge, condensed so that even the simplest mind could understand. It is the simplest means of teaching; place, pour, and accept.
