Main 3 – Changes 1559- 63 Ca, P or Co on developments from right hand side of p158 & p.160 SHP and …. Geneva Bible (1560) – had Calvinist notes. Cheap. 60 editions by 1611. 39 Articles (1563) – Convocation drew up a statement of the doctrinal beliefs of the C of E, based on the 42 articles of 1552. Moderate, but definitely Protestant. Only ratified by Parlt. In 1571. Parker’s advertisements (1566) – surplice had to be worn in church. NB not approved by Liz as copes were not insisted upon for Communion.
