Helped to finalize the list, ensuring that only one name was listed for each household

Living Justice, Loving Mercy, Serving Christ Trauma counseling is a critical component of this outreach Phase II: Stress debriefing seminars were held for 67 community leaders along with World Renew COs - They were then trained in psychological first aid to recognize signs of trauma and provide counseling

Living Justice, Loving Mercy, Serving Christ .. Phase III: Follow-up PSS training focused on identifying child victims of trauma and signs of trauma to look for. Three child stress debriefing sessions held.

Living Justice, Loving Mercy, Serving Christ Phase II: Cash for Work (CfW) was included on this project because everyone’s livelihood was destroyed - “EMERGENCY EMPLOYMENT” US$ 250,000 was programmed in CfW activities in order to boost the purchasing power of families Community leadership was involved from the beginning to decide what community projects would be most helpful

“The CFW project not only had immediate benefits, but it also restored and healed groups of friends, neighbors and families. After the devastation caused by the typhoon, it was therapeutic for people to restore the village in which they lived and reclaim what was taken from them. With their earnings, people bought nutritious foods for their families, purchased medicine, started small businesses, and purchased materials to rebuild damaged housing. ”
