DEPARTMENT AND POSITION SUMMARY: The Load Coordinator is a member of the Direct Ship team. Working under the direction of the Direct Ship Team Leader, the Load Coordinator will assist in the coordination, scheduling, and routing of merchandise to CTC stores through the Regional Flowthrough, 3rd Party, and Vendor Direct distribution channels. Support is also provided to the Express Auto Parts (EAP) and Fixture delivery network as required. Working a 40 hour work week, primarily a day shift operation at this time, (9:00 am to 5:15 pm coverage), flexibility is required to cover special projects, peak shipping seasons and weekend work. Although not a requirement at this time, Saturday shift work and schedule rotations may be implemented RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and schedule Direct Ship loads to ensure cost effective freight and handling, timely store delivery and effective co-ordination with vendor, 3rd Party and carrier shipping schedules. Support and follow CTC process and Deal timelines. Work with Supply Chain Analysts to have available purchase orders. Answer load schedule inquiries from dealers, carriers, vendors, and 3rd Party facilities. LOAD COORDINATOR Direct Ship Brampton, Ontario – Summer 2009 Co-op Opportunity

Develop or prepare reports in Excel or Word when necessary. Document processes or procedures when required. Work to improve current processes to achieve higher service levels and increased product throughput. Support a minimum of 97% Order Management Service Level (OMSL). To become fluid with the use and application of CTC systems such as DS Legacy, AOM, IMS, Trailer Tracking, and MTM. Help resolve problems with vendor, store or carrier invoices. Demonstrate leadership expectations relating to being passionate, accountable, commit to and deliver results, strive for the common good, and communicate authentically. REQUIREMENTS: Proven organizational and execution skills. Must have good interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills. Must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet prescribed deadlines. Clear and concise written and oral communication skills. Good working knowledge of Access/Excel would be an asset. Have a strong awareness of and commitment to service quality. Exposure to distribution/transportation systems and methods would be an asset.
