Important TV Viewership Increase during the Holidays! Total Weekly Viewership Hours. (in Millions) Individuals 2+ +7.0% In French Quebec, there is a notable increase in weekly viewership hours during the holiday season compared to the fall. Viewers Spend More Time Watching Specialty Networks! The average weekly viewership hours on specialty networks increase by 21% among individuals 2+ during the Holidays. Each Quebecer spends an average of close to 3 extra hours a week watching specialty networks, bringing the average weekly viewing hours up to 16 hours. Adults 25 to 54 years old spend close to 2.5 extra hours a week watching specialty networks. It’s Philippe Laprise who will have the honor of saying good bye to 2012, starting at 7pm on the 31 st of December! Meilleur avant le 31, bon pareil le 1 er !, consists of an hour of sketches and surprises with stars that have marked 2012, but also with mockeries of current music, TV, movie, ad, web and video game trends. The party will also take place at www.vrak.tv! What really stood out in 2012 and that we would like to keep (or not!) in 2013? Starting in the end of November, youngsters are invited to influenec the content of the show by voting. One can also prepare the evening by sending ‘ridiculous’ greeting cards to family members and even plan the most ‘happening’ new year’s eve party in town thanks to Philippe’s tips.
