RYLA What We Took From The RYLA Experience
16
► Camp taught us many things… ► How to be a great leader ► How to improve our social skills ► Learned the importance of the four way test ► That friends can be made anywhere anytime
17
At camp we learned about the four way test. A test that can and should be used in daily decisions to improve our everyday lives. A little bit of effort using this test can make all the difference in the world.
18
Camp was filled with seminars that taught us how we can be better leaders in our everyday lives. We learned that leadership is not only based on how well you tell people to do things. Leadership is affected by your communication skills, confidence and attitude towards your goal.
19
Social skills There were many people that were shy and scared to open up and make new friends in such a short period of time. Due to some great presentations and a positive attitude throughout the weekend people were able to open up to each other. By the end of the weekend everyone became friends and more confident in their social skills.
20
The RYLA experience at Camp Jubilee taught us that friends can be made anytime anywhere. All it takes is a little courage a positive attitude and a smile.
