15 Careers at Western 15 Staff Recruitment Notification Initiator fills out as much information as they know. Initiator forwards the information electronically to the Authorizer. Authorizer completes the rest of the information and forwards it electronically to the Staff Relations Coordinator. The Job Description can be sent electronically with this information. For the interim, a signed hard copy of the job description is still needed.

16 Careers at Western 16 Reviewing the Requisition HR Consultant prepares the Job Requisition and submits it to the Initiator for review. Initiator receives an email asking them to review and approve their requisition. A Worklist item in Peoplesoft is created for the Initiator. Select the link to return to Peoplesoft and the Manager’s Home page. A request to create Job Requisition number 000247 (Administrative Assistant), submitted by Lathem,Michael, is awaiting your approval. To review and approve this Job Requisition, please sign into MyHumanResources and select the corresponding link from your Worklist items. 17 Careers at Western 17 Reviewing the Requisition Log into Peoplesoft and select: Worklist in the menu bar at the top of the screen

18 Careers at Western 18 Reviewing the Requisition From Worklist, select the link that contains your Job Requisition number and the date This link will take you directly to the Job Requisition for your review and approval

19 Careers at Western 19 Reviewing the Requisition To view the Requisition select: View Summary

20 Careers at Western 20 Reviewing the Requisition Scroll through to review the Job Requisition. Once review is completed, hit ENTER to return to the Requisition Submission page

21 Careers at Western 21 Reviewing the Requisition Note any changes in the Comment box, or use the Comment box to direct the Consultant to proceed. Select: Reviewed to return the Job Requisition to the Consultant. Sign out of Peoplesoft. Consultant will make any changes and post the position.

22 Careers at Western 22 Review an Applicant and Invite to Interview Once applicants have applied, the Consultant will screen and route applications to the Initiator. Initiator receives an email asking them to review the applications and to invite applicants to an interview if so desired. Select the link to return to Peoplesoft and the Manager’s Home page. Please review applicant A0000003 - Cathy Ferrie, for Job Requisition Number 000247 (Administrative Assistant) and if you wish, invite the applicant for an interview. You review an applicant’s Profile Summary and invite an applicant for an interview through Manager Self Service (Select Applicant for Interview). 27 Careers at Western 27 Review an Applicant and Invite to Interview Scroll through and review the Applicant’s Profile You can print the Profile Summary or convert the Summary to a.pdf document. When you have finished reviewing, click ENTER to go back

28 Careers at Western 28 Review an Applicant and Invite to Interview To invite an applicant for an interview select: 020 – Invite for Interview from the drop down box and SAVE the record. If inviting more than one applicant, select this response for each applicant and click SAVE. If you do not wish to invite an applicant for an interview, No Response is required for that applicant.
