3. AIM Designed for… AIM is designed for small application for use on construction sites, boats, trailers, RV’s, Cottages or anywhere there is no or limited power available. This independent system that does not require phone lines or hardwired AC Power as it utilizes a self-contained battery power source allowing you to place the AIM unit where it will be most effective. The special design of this unit will run 30 – 60 days without recharging the battery and can be installed with a solar panel giving unlimited run time.

4. AIM is the affordable solution… There are 3 kits available at Tri-Ed they are pre-assembled and programmed. (ARM -1450HW-hardwire, ARM-1450WL-wireless and ARM- 1450-PC portable wireless) Each kit includes an AIM board, GSM (Rogers ) Custom Uplink Radio, Keypad or Keyfob Instruction Manual and Activation Form They are compatible with the Visonic powercode line of peripherals.

5. 1450 HW - Hardwire 1450HW - Wired Assembled Kit AIM 8 Zone Board (5 N/C zones,1 N/C 24 hour zone,2 N/O zones), Custom Uplink Radio, Custom Molded Housing, Visonic CL-8 Keypad, fully assembled and programmed. System comes preprogrammed. For installation simply connect batteries, install the key pad and the Visonic powercode devices for your specific application. (note any hardwire peripheral can be installed but must have battery support).

6. 1450-WL Wireless AIM - Wireless Assembled Kit AIM 7 Zone Board (4 independent zones and 3 supervisory zones), Custom Uplink Radio, 1-Visconic MCR-308 Wireless Receiver, 1- Visonic MCX-8 Expander, Custom Molded Housing, Visonic MCM-140 Wireless Keypad, all fully assembled and programmed. System comes preprogrammed. For installation simply connect batteries, install the key pad and the Visonic powercode devices for your specific application.

7. 1450 – PC Portable Wireless Case AIM - Wireless Portable Case AIM 8 Zone Board (3 Wireless zones, 1 tilt tamper, 3 supervisory, and 1 spare zone for optional case detector), Custom Uplink Radio, 1- Visonic Key Fob, 1 - Visonic Wireless Door Contact, 1- Visonic Wireless Motion Detector, 1-Visconic Wireless Receiver, 1 durable Pelican Case, 2 - 7 amp/hr batteries, hardwire transformer to recharge the batteries. This unique portable system is water tight and can be used in many different applications including temporary system, and covert operations.

8. With 2 -7amp non recycled lead batteries the AIM unit will operator 30 days and up to 60 -90 days on larger battery (car, boat, etc..) Continual power with optional solar panel charger Power Efficiency Development

9. How does it work? 1450 HW (hardwire) draws only 13 mA of power while on standby and the 1450WL draws 28 mA of power. By using the Visonic power code of peripherals each device is self powered drawing no additional power from the main board. Our board puts the radio on standby until a device is triggered, which at that time our board then activates the radio. Radio then sends signal and awaits kiss off. Once signal verified the unit then goes back on standby.

10. 1450-HW board 5 zones are normally closed loops. 1 Zone 24 hour for smoke, medical, etc… 7 & 8 are N/O zones and can accommodate ground switch where required. Exit/entry delay zone.

14. Status Hardwire or wireless has and led status on AIM board external LED can be added. On arming and disarming two tone chime will indicate status of system. 1 – tone armed 2 tones disarmed. 2 amp N/O relay can be used for 15 watt siren. (60 second sound).

VISONIC Detectors AIM works in conjunction with the Visonic powercode line of peripherals, so AIM can be custom designed for any application VISONIC NEXT K9-85 motion detector VISONIC SRN C PC motion detector has contacts for hardwiring directly to the aim panel. VISONIC MCT-425 smoke detector VISONIC MCT-201 is a pendent that can be used to turn on/off the AIM unit wirelessly

16. More than Security For the applications that are not fixed such as a RV or Boat dealers can ask their station about end user self management. Notification can be sent to the end users PDA / Cellular phone (ask your monitoring centre for more details) Direct Operator notification

17. Signal Reporting Panels transmits in Contact ID Transmits alarm and restore, trouble, arming/disarming, daily test (includes battery voltage) E602128 = E602 test and12.8 battery voltage Panel can only transmit the same zone three times within the hour. In case of cellular signal loss the unit will stay awake for a maximum of 4 minutes trying to send data. If unable to send then the unit will shut down for 30 minutes and retry up to 5 times before it will buffer the alarm and send with next transmission
