Corporate Finance 6 The XBRL voluntary filing program The CSA launched the voluntary filing program in May 2007 remove barriers to XBRL adoption by modifying SEDAR raise awareness of XBRL gain practical knowledge and experience optional filing, PDF still required financial statements, notes are optional No audit or certification requirements

Corporate Finance 7 International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) The CSA will require public company disclosure using IFRS 2011 - first quarterly IFRS filings 2012 - first annual IFRS filings Suitability of the IFRS taxonomy
