4.  The first people from my family to arrive in Australia were on the first fleet which arrived in 1788. Their names were Olivia Gascoigne and Nathaniel Lucas and they were convicts from England. They were both 24 years old at the time they were transported by sailing ship to Sydney where they eventually married and settled. The first in Australia
