Secure & Confidential information
It is very important to consider security and confidentiality when an organization is deciding how to store and access its information. Government legislation provides rules about how information can be handled under the Privacy Act 1998 (Cth) and organizations must make sure that their procedures meet these requirements.

Use reliable methods to collect information
It is essential that you can trust the information you collect to use at work. If the information is not reliable then you risk consequences as small as a staff member’s name being spelt incorrectly, or as large as project investment worth millions of dollars
