Citizen or Bushranger? Top photograph – Northcote carpenter Charles Verso became a local councillor in 1883 and Northcote Mayor in 1887. Bottom photograph – James Kenniff and his brother Patrick were the last Australian bushrangers. They stole horses and cattle in Queensland from 1895-1902.
