The Safe Haven Outreach, an incorporated body based in Tasmania, have been accredited by the Australian Government (Australian Tax Office) as a registered working charity and have been granted Income Tax Exemption and Gift Recipient Certificate Status as of July 1st 2000. Although Safe Haven have operated for some 4 ½ years "helping the kids on the streets of Tasmania" they have received no funding from Federal, State or Local Government until a recent grant from the “Tasmanian Community Fund” allowed them the opportunity to open the new Food Bank / Youth Factory.

4. With the endorsement of Gift Recipient Certificate Status, comes the opportunity for businesses, private individuals and organisations to make donations of cash, goods or services with amounts valued over $2.00 being fully tax deductible under Australian Tax Laws.

5. THE SAFE HAVEN OUTREACH needs funds, donations, goods and services to continue operating and saving the kids of Tasmania from the pitfalls associated with drugs, booze and the runaway lifestyle on our cities streets.
