Prism of Sennacherib As for Hezekiah the Judahite, who did not submit to my yoke: forty-six of his strong, walled cities, as well as the small towns in their area, which were without number, by levelling with battering- rams and by bringing up seige-engines, and by attacking and storming on foot, by mines, tunnels, and breeches, I besieged and took them. 200,150 people, great and small, male and female, horses, mules, asses, camels, cattle and sheep without number, I brought away from them and counted as spoil. (Hezekiah) himself, like a caged bird I shut up in Jerusalem, his royal city…. Hezekiah trusted in the Lord clave (or held fast) to the Lord departed not from following him and the Lord was with him 2 Kings 18: 5-7

Hezekiah went into the HOUSE the spirit helps us…. with groanings…. it makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God Romans 8:26-27 we are the temple keep those doors open, keep going in

we can ask for help (we have princes and mighty men to talk to) Hezekiah sent for and took counsel bring the word in, hide it in your heart…. let it live within you richly we are members one of another

Hezekiah spoke comfortably speak the word only big ships are turned with a very small helm a man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof confession is made to salvation speaking to ourselves in psalms and hymns….

The voices of fear, uncertainty and doubt the people held their peace and answered him not a word for the king's commandment was, saying, answer him not

Hezekiah brought water into the city

The singers to sing & the trumpets to blow our names are written in heaven the mighty works we have seen the fruit of our lips: a continual sacrifice

Walls and Towers Darts and Shields in Abundance safe in his hiding place armed and protected having done all stand
