Ambition in Action www.sit.nsw.edu.au Target group and eligibility Refugee student assistance scheme Students must have: /a humanitarian visa, protection visas, or bridging visas; /open age with a limit of $200 per student; /be in their first year of enrolment in a Sydney Institute course; /provide evidence of exceptional financial hardship and show commitment to study. /This is a joint DET and NSW Teachers Federation funded initiative Sydney Institute Student Association (SISA) Equity) Scholarship /provide evidence of exceptional financial hardship; show commitment to study; open age; preference given to refugee student

Support Statement: /Background on family/partner financial support / i.e. whether both parents/partner are working, financial position parent(s)/partner /Centrelink benefits, Abstudy or Student Allowance /Type of hardship – unable to pay for enrolment, or equipment or internet?
